The dimple layer construction offers support whilst only being 1.7cm deep and ensures it weighs only 235 grams. The aluminium coated base reflects heat and so prevents thermal loss without adding bulk or weight. Thus the R warmth value of 1.5 is higher than some air sleep mats.
