2 Season
Our 2 season bags are ideal for summer camping around the UK. With comfort temperatures of around 10 degrees some people who feel the cold may benefit from wearing clothes inside the bag or alternatively use a liner for extra warmth. If you plan on sleeping outside during the spring months as well then we recommend a 3 season sleeping bag. It’s important to remember that brands and manufacturers can vary in how they define a sleeping bag as having a 2 season rating. To ensure that you won’t get too warm or too cold check the comfort ratings and make sure the temperatures shown fit within the ones you will experience in your sleeping destination. If there is no comfort rating shown then the product will not have been officially tested by the European Standard EN13537 and as such the season rating given should only be taken as a general guide. It costs manufacturers a significant amount of money to get their range independently tested and so you generally only find comfort ratings on more expensive bags.
