The high loft hydrophobic down in combination with the new aluminimised layer which reflects heat back to the user creates a bag that has an extreme rating of -22!
The new box welded construction removes the stitching holes with helps the bag retain its loft and further minimise heat loss when in use.The bag is also shaped to ergonomically fit around the head and shoulders to decrease the air space and once again retain heat. The 20D 380T nylon outer shell fabric is durable and water-resistant which is important to protect the down filling from water ingress. The 90/10 700 fill power goose down has been ethically sourced and has been treated with a hydro barrier which allows it to stay drier four times longer than traditional down fillings.
The bag has a full length two way zip with is autolocking and has an integrated guard to minimise snagging. An insulated zip baffle with 3d shaping to allow it to left means the zip wont be an area where heat will be lost. An insluated shoulder baffle keeps heat contained around the body and the 3D hood minimises heat loss from around the head. This bag has a 4 way compression bag to shrink it right down but also a larger mesh bag for storage at home which allows the bag to breathe and stops the down from being over compressed when not in use.
