OFFSET DUAL LAYER
Premium Construction
Dual layer construction is a premium manufacturing technique which creates a more thermally efficient sleeping bag. Rather than using a single layer of insulation which is sewn onto the outside shell of the bag, dual layer construction uses two layers of insulation in the bag which are sewn into the inner and outer shells.
With this premium model the two layers have the stitching in different locations and so are ‘offset’ from each other. By offsetting the sewing patterns this method overcomes the cool spots and thermal leak you can get where the stitching squeezes the insulation together stopping it from trapping air and keeping the user warm. An added benefit is the creation of an additional layer of air between the two layers of insulation creating more warmth without adding any bulk when packed away.
Vango Shangri-La Luxe XL utilizes two 175 g/m² layers of Vango’s Thermolock Pro insulation.

100% Organic Cotton Inner
Being at the pinnacle of Vango’s family sleeping bag range, this bag uses the best materials including a brushed 100% organic cotton inner which is soft and comfortable against the skin.
The outer material is a combination of organic cotton and recycled polyester to make a sustainable polycotton which is also soft and luxurious. No shiny and crinkly materials with this bag.

48 plastic bottles have been recycled to make each Shangri-La Luxe XL so you can head off camping knowing you are helping to reduce post consumer waste.
Being part of Vango’s Earth range means this bag reduces the environmental impact by using recycled materials in the outer shell and filling.

Autolock Zip + Baffle
Vango’s premium autolock zip stops the bag opening when you are fast asleep keeping you warm and toasty throughout the night.
The insulated zip baffle site between the zipper and your body stops draughts and keeps the zip away from your skin.
SIMPLE TO CLEAN
Machine Washable
Vango’s Shangri-La range are machine washable at 30 degrees so it’s not a problem if it needs a spruce up once in a while.
