It’s important to remember that brands and manufacturers can vary in how they define a sleeping bag as having a 2 season rating. To ensure that you won’t get too warm or too cold check the comfort ratings and make sure the temperatures shown fit within the ones you will experience in your sleeping destination. If there is no comfort rating shown then the product will not have been officially tested by the European Standard EN13537 and as such the season rating given should only be taken as a general guide. It costs manufacturers a significant amount of money to get their range independently tested and so you generally only find comfort ratings on more expensive bags.
